SHOT concert trip 2024
Help us and our instruments to South Korea!
In the summer of 2024, we, Studenten Harmonie Orkest Twente (SHOT), want to make the concert trip of a lifetime: to South Korea! We want to participate in the famous Jeju International Wind Band Festival. To make this (dream) trip possible, we need your help!
We are a group of driven and enthusiastic young musicians who make music at a high level during our student days in Twente, with plenty of room for socializing. All this for almost 30 years under the leadership of Ronny Buurink.
SHOT goes on a concert tour every two years in the summer. Usually this is a tour through two European countries with the musical highlight the participation in renowned festivals for concert bands.
The festival in which we would love to participate next year will take place on the southernmost island of South Korea: Jeju. This festival has been around since 1995 and aims to promote wind music. Orchestras from all over the world come here every year. The perfect place to let us be heard as SHOT!
