The sky it not our limit: support our rocket team Rise!

Rise is a student team from the University of Twente and the Vrije University of Amsterdam. We believe that the future of humanity is in space, and to achieve this, we want to help clean the earth orbit of space debris. Currently we have around 40 students from different background working on this multidisciplinary project. Our long term goal is to develop a mechanism to clean space debris in low earth orbit.

Our short term goals are to develop the rockets that can take us up to the low earth orbit. As sub-goals, we would have: designing and manufacturing of our hybrid engine, making a hopper capable of taking off and landing, developing our own propellant, .

 We are planning to participate in the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC) 2026, taking place in Portugal. This is the biggest student rocketry competition, where the best teams in Europe compete to reach a height of 3,000m. In this competition, we will unveil our hybrid rocket engine, fully produced in-house by our team in Enschede.
